Power microwave oven. I used it just to check it out and tho I only had drip grind, it made good coffee just had a few more grounds than regular grind would have left in my cup.

Don't expect it to start perking like a stove top model as it will not, it just starts to boil after about three to four 3 to 4 minutes the water rises up and wets the coffee grounds and wallah, good coffee. I sat and watched it and thought, hey this thing doesn't work, but I waited a little longer and it started turning darker like a dark cloud coming up and got darker and darker, well you get the picture.
