It uses 2 kneading paddles see picture of them in the bottom of the pan, yes they r removable and a programmable timer for hot fresh homemade bread when u want it. Nonsmoking, animal free home. Also, I did use it before putting it up for bids to make double sure all parts are in excellent working condition, and found that this unit is in pristine excellent condition, just like when it was purchased. It also has a swing open door with a magnetic latch.

The baking pan is nonstick and there is an led display screen for making all types of dough. Horizontal loaf or a 2lb.

Unit was used a total of 2 times for bread and about 4 times for pizza dough. Suzy homemaker I am not.
