I didn't know it was missing until disassembling. I have used filtered water, and cleaned/descaled monthly. This is not a loud machine at all. This weighs just a tad over 20 pounds.

This has been used for 1 sometimes two espressos a day the past year or so. It is easily removed if you wish, but left it as worked nicely. But feel free to message me with questions. It comes with after-market open/naked portability a nice wood en handle, several baskets/filters, cleaning accessories, two tampers.

I found that setting 15 was my sweet spot for espresso. The manual is easily found online. This keeps the coffee grinds from sneaking off to counter. Lots of details on this available online.

This causes no issues in any way. There is a tab missing from the black pull device in water tank. It does have the conical burr grinder that a great job ranging from course to super fine grinds. It is very easy to use.

This does have several options for customization like temperature and shot time. Cleaning/descaling is a breeze.
